Can a small drill machine work with a very big engine ?
These days, a customer consults me.
My answer is this is not not recommended!
Why not recommend it?
Because it is only increased engine power, the hydraulic system is still for the small rig, the final power is dependent on the output of hydraulic system, so if you just increse the engine power and not change the hydralic system, and the actual drilling speed and depth will not change even if you use a 1000 kw engine, it just wastes your diesel !
